Suicide and the Subconscious mind

Suicide is a very difficult yet a very real discussion that most people do not like to have. Most people will never feel the pain of hurting so bad that suicide is the only way out and will never truly understand it. This is very unfortunate, and I do not mean it because people should ever have to experience it but because I personally think that the more people that talked about it the less it would happen. Many feel as if they don’t want to burden others with their depression and problems or that others might think that they are crazy. This forces people to bury it deep down into their subconscious. 

Carl Jung's perspective can be added carefully like this:

The subconscious mind can influence suicide by reinforcing deeply held beliefs, emotional pain, and automatic thought patterns outside of a person's conscious awareness. When someone experiences severe depression, trauma, or hopelessness, these unconscious processes can make suicide seem like the only escape, even though this perception is often distorted by their mental state. According to Carl Jung, the unconscious contains unresolved conflicts, repressed emotions, and symbolic forces that shape behavior. Jung believed that suicidal thoughts could sometimes reflect an unconscious desire for psychological transformation or the "death" of an old way of living, rather than a literal wish to die. However, he also recognized that suicide is a complex issue influenced by many psychological, biological, and social factors, not just the unconscious mind.

This reflects Jung's ideas while avoiding the common misconception that he viewed suicide simply as a symbolic desire for change.

Remember that it not only hurts you but if you are gone the people that care about you will feel the pain as well.
